Chapter 1.8

 

The girls went to the Love Festival, but Dhruv Nair here was barking up the wrong tree.

"I think my sister has a crush on you," said Eloise. "Here, look, this is her."

There's the right sister!

"Wow, you are really excited at the possibility of joining a legacy, Dhruv."

"I'm just really into fitness."

Kennedy was much more receptive to Dhruv's advances! He is cute, but we are definitely going to have to do something about his fashion style at some point.

Meanwhile, Penny was still trying to make friends with Bob Pancakes. She heard a tip that taking selfies together is a great way to bond, but it didn't seem to help all that much.

Winterfest rolled around again, and good old family friend Catarina wouldn't miss it for the world.

Neither would Apollo I guess! He is back from the Netherworld but only briefly.

Everyone was feeling the loss of Apollo so the family decided to adopt a little male kitten named Cookie. He's a Japanese Bobtail I think?

Kennedy and Dhruv's relationship continued to deepen. They even messed around in Duncan and Penny's bed, which is pretty gross if you ask me but teens, am I right?

Eloise was also finding love. She had fallen for Kennedy's childhood best friend Carrie Bjergsen. The two make an adorable couple.

"I am happy for you guys!" Kennedy gave her blessing.

"No, Cookie, not on the counter!"

"Meow?"

It didn't take long for Cookie to grow up and for Kennedy to fall in love with her new best friend. She and Cookie are Companions.

I will end this chapter with a house update. This is just to show that the house now has a second floor although it will take some time to move all the bedrooms upstairs.

At some point I need to learn how to make houses that aren't just big ugly boxes. I've never been talented at building or interior decorating in the sims and definitely not in real life either. Ah well.
