Chapter 1.1

Hello and welcome to another legacy. My name is Tawnee (or I go by Nyx online), and I've been playing Sims since I was 9 or 10 years old. I started with Sims 1 back in 2000. I've literally been playing Sims for most of my life! Anyway, I really wanted to start another legacy even though I am terrible at finishing them so let's get started, shall we? I will be playing for points and following Pinstar's rules. I'll wait until the end of a generation before giving a points update. 

Let's meet our founder. His name is Duncan Wynn, and he has just moved to Brindleton Bay. Duncan here is a Genius, Family-Oriented, and a Bookworm. His aspiration is to be a Renaissance Sim.


 

We are doing a regular start. I don't think there are any 50x50 lots in Brindleton Bay so we got something smaller and cheated his funds down to the required 1,800 simoleons. This is what poor Duncan was able to purchase with his meager funds.


Definitely time for Duncan to become gainfully employed! For his first career, he chose Tech Guru.


Before I figured out how to turn them off, we ended up getting some extra money from a discovery quest, but that felt cheaty to me so we won't be doing any more of those. But it was enough to purchase an easel, which will be a good way to bring in some extra funds.


Totally bored of his new "home" already, Duncan decided to check out the local museum and scout out the potential spouses artwork.


 

This lady looked promising, but she's already married. Moving on!


Lily Feng seemed into Duncan, but Lily also has a spouse. Boo!


 

There was another reason to visit the museum. Brindleton Bay doesn't have a library so this is the closest place for Duncan to find books to read.


 

Duncan thinks Ulrike Faust is quite pretty.


 

Literally the first time Duncan tries to make himself a meal, he instead sets himself on fire, and thus begins his lifelong fear of fire, which I can't say I blame him.


 

Duncan is not pleased.


 

Duncan earned enough money to buy himself some stuff that will help him get ahead in his career.


 

Duncan met an enchanting sim named Penny Pizazz at the Spice Festival. They hit it off quite nicely.


 

Though he is not exactly a social butterfly, Duncan still seems to have a way with the ladies.


Everything is broken! I think it's because it keeps raining, and that seems to break all the electronics. Duncan needs to afford walls ASAP!


Penny has competition for Duncan's affections. Duncan has met Catarina Lynx, and she is quite pretty as well. Who will win his heart?

  The girls continue to try and make friends. Eloise is pretty successful with this girl named Abby Jang. At least I think it's Abby. She has a sister, and she comes over to the house sometimes too lol Eloise got a room makeover after her birthday. It's pretty cute I think. Chapter 1.5

  Penny made a New Year's resolution to get fitter. I think her face sums up how she is feeling about that right now, which I completely relate to! Penny is an Outgoing and social Sim so she felt bad being cooped up in the house all the time. It was time to throw on her party clothes and have a night on the town. The Sim with the orange hair is so pretty and has great style, haha. Because he has the Renaissance Sim aspiration, Duncan quit his job in Tech and got a new, lowly job in Business! He looks so cute in his purple button down. None of his work outfits include his glasses though, which annoys me. I don't know how to fix that. Being the Romantic Sim she is, Penny doesn't mind giving her husband a nice massage after a long day of corporate work. Eloise doesn't think it's as cute though. "Gross," she complains."Get a room!" Chapter 2.1

  It is a bit fitting that we start the first chapter of Gen. 2 with one of the founders getting old.  "You've still got it, Mom!" Penny received a little mini-makeover. I think the purple looks stunning on her. "Now that we are young adults, Dhruv, I was wondering if you would want to take our relationship to the next level?" "What do you mean?"
